Completed in 2024, this home was designed by a Wanaka architect for a client seeking a low-maintenance, family-friendly home that maximizes both the surrounding mountain views and north-facing sun. A striking scissor truss ceiling elevates the kitchen, dining, and lounge areas, creating spacious, light-filled living spaces that seamlessly connect to expansive outdoor entertaining areas. 

The use of finger-jointed Western Red Cedar cladding kept the project within budget, without compromising on the home's overall style and design. A large ducted heating system ensures year-round comfort, keeping the home warm during the cold southern winters and cool throughout the hot summer months.
